"Where I waited, listlessly,
On Summer’s unportentous brink,
You stepped out of the sea.
Now I can no longer think."

Anonymous asked: You're tweeting a lot about Ted who is he?

Oh, love! Ted is my newest book of prose, and the character Ted is a fictional one. The narrator/protagonist is told by a ouija board when she is a little girl that “Ted” is the name of her future husband, so she decides to write him an autobiographical book to prepare him. Probably my most personal work to date. Love to you.

Anonymous asked: wait wait wait do you already have kids

No. Clueless how this one started. Maybe I casually mentioned “my kids” as in my music students, but you’re about the third person to ask. Apologies for any confusion. X

kyrieelipsis asked: Favorite color? Smell? Three random facts about you? Go!

British racing green. Cherry tobacco. Summer clothes are against my religion, I don’t believe in life before coffee, and I can’t hold a grudge. I’ve tried. Love to you.

"Consider that you radiate. At all times. Consider that what you’re feeling right now is rippling outward into a field of is-ness that anyone can dip their oar into. You are felt. You are heard. You are seen. If you were not here, the world would be different. Because of your presence, the universe is expanding."
